Lean Supply Chain Management In Health Sector

Öz

Supply systems in hospitals determines the speed of the process and quality of care and services, healthy stock management and regular supply of materials. The elimination of all the none value adding activities, transactions and processes in the supply process, minimization of errors and increasing productivity of the process between inputs and outputs is possible the implementation of supply chain management with lean principles. The purpose of this study is specified that applying lean techniques in supply chain management processes that playing a key role for health institutions and it is possible to integrate the supply chain management with lean thinking. It is also mentioned studies about lean supply chain in the health sector and the organizations implementing lean supply chain management. There are many positive effects of lean methods on these organizations. Therefore, collecting data relating to both medical and non-medical process, mapping and analyzing them are suggested to all health institutions and organizations operating in the health sector. Thus, they will be able to design their processes effectively and efficiently with activities such as using of an effective inventory management method, designing material flow processes by eliminating waste, making improvements in the physical layout, establishing of the treatment process checklist and applying integrated decision support software.

Öz

Hastanelerde tedarik sistemi; sağlıklı stok yönetimini, düzenli malzeme tedarikini, bakım ve hizmet sürecinin hızını ve kalitesini belirlemektedir. Tedarik sürecindeki değer katmayan tüm faaliyetlerin, hareketlerin ve süreçlerin ortadan kaldırılması, hataların en aza indirilmesi, hastanenin girdileri ile çıktıları arasındaki sürecin verimliliğinin artırılması ise, tedarik zinciri yönetiminde TZY yalın ilkelerin uygulanması ile mümkün olabilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sağlık kurumları için anahtar rol oynayan tedarik zinciri yönetimi süreçlerinde yalın tekniklerin uygulanabileceğinin açıklanması ve yalın düşünce sistemi ile tedarik zinciri yönetiminin bütünleştirilmesinin mümkün olduğunun belirtilmesidir. Çalışmada ayrıca sağlık sektöründe yalın tedarik zinciri konusunda yapılan çalışmalara ve yalın tedarik zinciri yönetimini uygulayan kurumlara değinilmiştir. Yalın yöntemlerin bu kurumlar üzerinde yarattığı birçok olumlu etki bulunmaktadır. Dolayısıyla, sağlık sektöründe faaliyet gösteren tüm sağlık kurum ve kuruluşlarına, hem tıbbi hem de tıbbi olmayan süreçlere ilişkin verileri toplamaları, haritalamaları ve analiz etmeleri önerilmektedir. Böylelikle, bu kurum ve kuruluşlar, etkili stok yönetimi yöntemlerinin kullanılması, malzeme akış süreçlerinin israfı önleyecek şekilde tasarlanması, fiziksel yerleşim planında iyileştirmelerin yapılması, tedavi süreçlerinde kontrol listelerinin oluşturulması ve entegre karar destek yazılımı kullanımı gibi faaliyetler ile süreçlerini etkili ve verimli bir şekilde tasarlayabileceklerdir.
